Kinison

Your Old Droog

2015

Droog’s Kinison EP is an ode to rock ‘n’ roll, but not in the way you’d expect. Instead of sampling riffs or guitar solos, he name-drops legends like Sonic Youth, Porno for Pyros, and Rage Against the Machine in his track titles, and weaves references to their lyrics into his own bars. It’s less about imitation and more about vibe.
