The Ziggurat is a floating space station home to its very own society. The story from this point on will focus on events happening in the Ziggurat and explaining its origins.
The Ziggurat housed an entirely autonomous society who lived completely harmonious lives and were virtually free from suffering. The airborne megalopolis existed perfectly outside the laws of nature, but we come to focus on events happening in the Ziggurat and explaining its origins.
Random Boy and Kidtronic were best friends who lived on the Ziggurat, a gigantic floating cit that was built by The Constructus Corporation.
Everyone who lived on the Ziggurat was very happy and everything, however Random Boy and Kidtronic had the tendency of getting bored rather easily and so they took it upon themselves to create virtual games and celebrities on their playgrounds.
These devices covered your eyes and ears and projected virtual imagery onto the existing environment, whilst enhancing the users natural telekinetic ability.
Anyway, our two friends enjoyed broadcasting the little musicals and interactive game sequences they made, illegally throughout The Ziggurat using hidden pirate frequencies. This for obvious security reasons, bothered some people, but they didn’t really care, because they realised some thing wasn’t right about life on The Ziggurat.
So using ancient information, long forgotten by humanity, encoded in the musicals they produced, the kids set about trying to wake the rest of the population up to the fact that they had been tricked into thinking they had control over their own lives. To perform these musicals and thereby to distribute this information, The Boom Band was created.
A virtual celebrity crew that could be transmitted from anywhere to any where aboard The Ziggurat, and possibly beyond.
Random Boy and Kidtronic’s final and most impressive mission was to hack into the Consrtructus security division and order The Invisible Sentinels to launch a full scale strategic offensive against The Apostles. Now The Invisible Sentinels were Prism Guards who existed one realm out of human perception.
Their function was to keep The Divine Reality safe from human understanding, using methods like assassination, orchestrated insanity, and political coerce, they had a success rate of virtually 100%.
The Apostles on the other hand existed a few more realms out of human perception. They were The Corporations Royal Guard who defended The Gates of Heaven, which was the seal between The Divine Reality and The Ultimate Reality.
Once the order had been initiated, the two friends hacked into Constructus Surveillance Pods to document the event. While the multi-dimensional battle was waging, they broadcast the footage through out The Ziggurat via Constructus Entertainment, and The Boom Band provided the sound track.
It was decided between them that an appropriate name for their ‘music video type thingy’ would be V for victory, both thought it ironic to bite The Constructus Corporation’s own motto, ” We won before we begun”.
You can imagine the fuss Random Boy and Kidtronics’ little prank’ caused. The inhabitants of the Ziggurat got quite a big surprise when they found out that the perfect world they had been living in for so long was in fact a giant people – trap, capable of inter – dimensional travel.
And that the Constructus Corporation and all its employees were in fact shape shifting demons from the nether – realm who had come to Earth to harvest souls. Certain people sort of already knew what was going on and were primed for The Great Awakening that followed.
Unfortunately, majority of the inhabitants lost the plot and exploded in an emotionally chaotic state of emergency.
The people that were ready to wake up woke up, while the others who were still sleepy scrambled for their sanity as the nightmare they were living in got revealed.
Nightmares need fear to sustain their existence. Sleepy people get scared easily because they are too scared, and too lazy to remember how incredible they are, and that they created these nightmares a really long time ago, after they got bored in Paradise and came to Earth looking for a little adventure.
