Jueles is back after a 30-year disappearance and falls back into things with Kenny, who’s afraid to ask about her absence in case she’ll bail on him again. Kenny is a livestreamer now and constantly addresses his anonymous audience chat. Kenny is now yelling into the internet void, while using slang unnatural to the 60+-year old Chicagoan, as he desparately tries to stay relevant in a tech-driven world he doesn’t actually understand.

Kenny has left the real-world community for a parasocial chatroom. His other ex-girlfriend, Elaine, wanted a normal, simple relationship with Kenny, but Kenny was too glued to his screen talking to “CHAT,” burning cash on “Taco Bell Racing Jackets,” and hiding the fact that his long-lost wife is back in his life.
