The Incredible True Story tells a sci-fi narrative set 100 years in the future. Following Earth’s destruction, the story follows astronauts Thomas and Kai, along with AI Thalia, traveling on the Aquarius III to find the uninhabitable planet Paradise, who are listening to “The Incredible True Story” while on their way.

They use the album as a backing track to the queries they have on life, often contemplating the point of finding Paradise, and what it will hold should they arrive. During the journey, they stumble upon a damaged audio distress signal of another ship.
