More than just a number, the album’s title represents Latrell’s life from the ages of 12-24 as he transitions from adolescence to adulthood.

“Twelve is a representation of my life in twelve years,” Latrell said. “I kept a theme consistent within this, and that is life and growth. To me, if something is not growing, then it is dead. In this piece, you will get to see all the changes that occurred to me from the age of 12-24.”
