Acid Rap
Chance the Rapper
2013
Allegedly written under the influence of LSD, Acid Rap explores the starry-eyed transition from youth to adulthood in Chicago. The concept serves as an unfiltered psychological journey. It contrasts rebellious joy and romantic nostalgia with the harsh realities of poverty, street violence, and self-doubt.
