The beginning of the album is the Mourning In America. It’s the part of the album where Brother Ali airs out all of his grievances with the country. The second half of the album shows the bright side of things, or the Dreaming in Color.

Through his song “All You Need”, Brother Ali is speaking to his son, telling him that through all of the hardship and struggle you face in your life, all you need is your faith to keep going.
