It took ten years and five albums, but The Lonely Island has finally put out their first concept album, The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience.

The entire album is conducted in character and presented as a rap album written and performed by “Bash Brothers” baseball players Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire.

It takes place in the 1980s when the pair were played for the Oakland Athletics. The album was actually timed with the 30th anniversary of the Oakland A’s championship season.
