STRIPS by Jay NiCE is a concept album based upon the Sunday Comic Strips in the local newspapers back when the world was still fairly new. Inspired by comic strips, each song is titled after a newspaper comic strip.
Jay NiCE calls himself the black Beetle Bailey, and references other classic comic strips like Peanuts, Doonesbury, Marmaduke, and The Far Side.
