Polarity is a concept album inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho. Norman is the shared (somewhat sociopathic) alter ego of two people: Onry Ozzborn and Barfly. It’s a concept album surrounding the life of Norman (i.e. Psycho’s Norman Bates), and immediately, the character is established as a hard-luck outcast without a definitive hip-hop past.

As each rapper spits bars as a different aspect of Norman’s conscience, we follow Norman’s life and as the album continues he loses touch with reality and becomes more and more insane.
