Ozark Empire is a narrative concept album as elaborated by the creators: “It is a story about a knife salesman, a husband, and a father. He’s a cheater, he lies, he drinks too much, he fantasizes about beating his wife. He’s never happy with what he has, and is always getting into debt trouble because of it. I decided to tell you his story in this way so you could be able to watch out for traces of his lifestyle patterns in your own life.”
