B.Moore says of Lord Sleep:

“I’ve always loved comic books. When I was younger it was more about seeing bad guys get the beat down to affirm the idea that the world is in proper working order. Nowadays, I’m more fascinated with the human stories between the punches, the amplified lives of the amplified human are great places to get a sense of ourselves. So it felt natural to use this as a starting point in expressing some thoughts on the addiction issues I’ve watched my peers struggle with (they’re superheroes to me after all). Lord Sleep was made with all those things in mind. It’s a concept album, a short fiction, and a love letter to the familiar forms.” – B.Moore
