Fishscale is a Concept album about organized crime, specifically surrounding the drug trafficking trade. The album’s title derives from a slang for high grade cocaine, in allusion to Ghostface Killah’s signature subject matter (he also abused it in the 1980s). Since its release, the term has become even more so popularized.
