Emergency Powers is a more “weed-forward” album by Super Chron Flight Brothers (billy woods and Priviledge), but it’s more than just weed rap.
It incorporates samples of anti-marijuana propaganda as well as political speeches and other samples from tv and movies that reinforce the “criminal” aspect of selling, smuggling and trafficking weed. Other topics of focus are gentrification, the drug war, and terrorism.
