Dexter’s Laboratory: The Hip-Hop Experiment is a compilation album that features songs by various hip hop artists inspired by the Cartoon Network animated television series Dexter’s Laboratory.
With seven tracks featuring rappers like Coolio, Prince Paul, Pfife Dawg, and De La Soul, The tracks on the EP are based around the premise of the series created by Genndy Tartakovsky. The series follows Dexter, an enthusiastic boy-genius with a hidden science laboratory in his room full of inventions, and is at constant odds with his older and more extroverted sister Dee Dee, who always gains access to the lab and foils his experiments.
