The Catalina Wine Mixer is inspired by the movie Step Brothers and uses samples from the film with songs named after prominent moments. In the film, the Catalina Wine Mixer is to be the “biggest helicopter leasing event in the Western Hemisphere.” In real life, the Catalina Wine Mixer is the greatest wine tasting party event in Southern California.
