On Honor Killed The Samurai, Ka wants to live life like a samurai, following their beliefs of being humble, helping others and valuing knowledge more than money. But real life keeps getting in his way as he is always forced to act shallow, ignore knowledge for money, kill people, sell drugs, etc, and even though he regrets all of these things, he has no other choice.

As a samurai, to break any of the rules is to lose your honor. But in todays world the ways of the samurai will get you nowhere. Hence the title Honor Killed the Samurai. 

The Brownsville native carefully intertwines tales of samurai lore with grim street chronicles, revealing parallels between ancient honor codes and the unwritten laws of the block.
